Fire Insurance Valuation Advice

It is important that buildings are adequately insured for their full rebuilding cost so that in the event of fire or serious destruction, the property can be rebuilt without undue financial burden placed upon the property owner.
Buildings vary in construction and design. A 'Listed Building' will often have to be rebuilt with particular matching materials, which are significantly more costly than normal materials. It is important to appreciate that when rebuilding, a property has to be constructed to a standard that conforms to current Building Regulations.
For commercial properties, other matters are included within the insurance cover i.e. loss of rental payments for a required period of time.
It is important that all buildings are appropriately insured with regard to their full rebuilding/reinstatement value. Castle Wildish offers a full service in respect of calculating the rebuilding cost of a building.
Should you require advice in respect of Reinstatement Insurance, then please call 01932 225514 or click here to email us.
